Well, most of you were aware of my situation. I ended up getting the 09 Crossbones. After parting out most of the stuff from my RK, I had enough extra cash to start looking at a Stage 1 package from somewhere. I don't want to go to far into the details, but I will say Jamie at Fuelmoto rocks and definitely takes care of his customers. If you are looking for exhaust/air or tuning products, he is the one you need to talk to!!!!
Good luck Brett, I read the post on your recent misfortune.
I myself just got laid off recently,hoping I don't
have to experience what you have been thru.
I dig the X bones and have always loved the springer style but I think I mentioned that when you first posted your misfortune. Just glad you got a scoot you are happy with. Keep the shiny side up!!!! BTW, have not taken a test drive yet so curious how you like the ride.
Hey Brett can't wait to go riding and see the bones. Bet it will be a screamer when you are finnished. Give me a call cause I'm looking forward to the ride to the clubhouse.Take care and you are right the team at Fuel Moto are the best when you need them....Rick
Thanks guys. Luckily things are looking up. She has a few possible positions here. We will see.
Fortunately we weren't so far into the hurt box that I couldn't use a little of the money from the Road King's parts sale to do something about the anemic sounding stock exhaust on the bones....going with a short Bassani 2 into 1 with black wrap
