Help
Somebody posted a link or a picture of a little digital device to check calibration on a torque wrench. I don't remember how old the thread was, but it popped up on page 1 or 2 in the last couple of weeks. I think the cost on the thing was like $50.
I have searched here and also tried to "google" it, but I ain't having any luck! I thought I saved the link, but I can't find that either. A little help on this would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks
Mike

They have what are called torque analyzers or torque testers. Did you try googling that? I can't see one that is $50 though. Those are generally good money. You're not thinking of the new SE torque angle gauge from HD are you? That's like $40 but only determines the angles.
No, it was a digital device that went between the socket and the wrench. It displayed the torque applied. Poster said you could even use it as a "torque wrench" using just a breaker bar. Heck maybe I was dreaming or somebody just made it up using photo shop. I didn't pay much attention thinking I would check it out later.....oh well!
