torque wrench
I just bought a Craftsman half inch clicker type torque wrench so I could do more accurate work on my trike. It's range is from 20 to 150 ft/lbs. Don't know much about them but this type was suggested by a friend who does a lot of wrenching. Any tricks to this model of torque wrench?
The torque wrench will be less accurate at the lower settings. Turn the wrench back to zero everytime you put it up, this will help it to remain accurate for longer. DON'T DROP IT, or use it as a hammer. (Sounds like common knowledge, but common knowledge is only common if you know it) Don't keep turning after the click, it's not a ratchet. You may want to also consider an inch/lb torque wrench as well.
Take care of it, so it can take care of you.

After rereading my reply, I hope I didn't sound like an a**hole. I'm an assembler for a large farm machinery manufacturer, and these are the things that they tell us.
Another thing, As you approach the torque setting, slow down. This will allow you to stop turning and not exceed the callout.
Hope the work always goes well.
