I have both shifters in the past and just use what Harley has on the bike when I get it.....I have had no problem with them....like my 83 Wide Glide has the heel shifter....but then my 07 had the toe shifter.....now my two touring bikes have the heel shifter and I never thought about seriously changing them

Tried it out when I bought the RK but never really became a fan of it, took it off for more room and haven't looked back.

Rode a touring bike for a few hundred miles with one. Hated it at first, then i learned to ignore it, then i started to use it. Never got to loving it, but could see the use.
