Friend of mine just gave me a set of beach bars for my Road King, anyone here try them or have an opinion???

The only experience that I have with beach bars is that they were installed on a Heritage Springer that I bought used in 2003. I thought that they were too wide and the grips were too low. Changed them out to mini-apes.

I think the stock bars on my 07 Road King Custom are considered Beach Bars, at least that's how HD refers to them. I rotated them up higher and like them. They are comfortable on long rides and do not cause any discomfort in the shoulders or neck.

However, sometime in the future I will probably switch to apes. Just for the heck of it.
