Only in 2006 when there was a choice between carbed and injected...I think all injected bikes had an "I" in there back when there was a choice.

Hey vtxkc, that's a nice list you've got there but you left out my FLHTK, Electra Glide Ultra Limited!
Yep, he left out quite a bit. And I think Kagan just gave the guy a stroke! If the guy knows or cares that little about Harleys, the dealer must LOVE him ....................... and his wallet. You go boy, buy all the stuff, THEN learn about it and help keep the MoCo in the black!
LOL I wasn't trying to prove anything. I keep that list updated because I use it daily. It's one of my tools. Over time I don't see a jumble of letters, I see a bike.
[QUOTE=vtxkc;6221410]Why when someone starts a new thread about their bike they have to start the thread by putting their model # first instead of the model name of their bike? Is that the cool thing to do?
> No, it's not the "cool" thing to do, it's just the language we speak.
I realize I'm a newbie and just purchased my 2010 Electra Glide Classic but I have no idea what the F&@# a FLHTCUI is nor do I care.
> Wow, sorry you don't give a F&@# about over a hundred years of American history and culture.
So for all us newbies an otherwise uninformed individuals I found this information.
> Glad to see you can do your homework. You should be a little more interested in what Harley's are all about. That would go a long way towards gaining respect from those of us who understand what it means to own and ride one. You should at least do a little reading and learn what it is your riding and what the history is. Do you even know WTF an Electra Glide is? If you don't, and someone asks you, do you say "I don't effing care I just ride it"?
Any model made before 2007 (when Harley dropped all carburetor models and only produced Fuel Injected ones) that had an "I" following the letter designation was Fuel Injected. If it didn't have the "I", it was a Carburetor model.
I didn't really need it right now. Just wanted to be sure you had one, IF I ever did have to have it. ............. I think that I can go online and order it at a cheeper price though.
