Having just come upon this abortion of a thread, I can say just this; I love motorcycles and the history behind them, and not just Harley. Knowing the Harley alphabet is just knowing the history of the machines and I love that idea that Harley has not strayed from the tradition. I try to remember the alphabet but get screwed up sometimes because my memory sucks :-)

No, but we can put it on our next stock order, be here in about 2 weeks. We can get it a little quicker if you want to pay the freight!

vtxkc - "Why when someone starts a new thread about their bike they have to start the thread by putting their model # first instead of the model name of their bike? Is that the cool thing to do?"

For example a guy would post "Question about a 2010 FLHTCUI" I realize I'm a newbie and just purchased my 2010 Electra Glide Classic but I have no idea what the F&@# a FLHTCUI is nor do I care. Now if they guy posted "Question about a 2010 Ultra Classic then I would know what bike he actually had and could decide if I wanted to read the post or not. So for all us newbies an otherwise uninformed individuals I found this information. So now I have a spreadsheet to go to when I see a post like, " What kind of oil for a 2010 FLHRCI"

Hmm, someone found an old thread! But I got a kick out of this one when I read it the first time too!

VTX,,, this is how you LEARN,,,, It's a neat concept. You see something you don't know, Like "FLHTCUI" Then you go find out what it means! It's really cool, and kind of neat you finally figured out how to do it! That spread sheet will help everyone, even some of the more "Seasoned" HD riders!
THANKS!

Well, on edit, this was the last thread he ever posted in, backin Feb of this year. And in skimming his posts, it looks like he didn't get that 2010 ULTRA he was looking at. Guess he wasn't worthy of the PW and hand shake!
He traded his VTX for another Ricer,,,,
