What's the difference between #1 and #2 cylinders?
Can anyone explain why the map for the #1 cylinder (front) is different then the map for the #2 cylinder (rear) ? I also have a second question, how much difference would a Big Sucker type air filter make ? compared to having the K&N filter with the stock cover. Any opinion's would be appreciated.....Thanks in advance !
on thought is that the front jug gets more air to cool it
other reason - tolerance variations
+1
Other things that could effect it are injector output between the two cylinders. Have you checked your compression on both cylinders? They may be slightly different which would create differences in the tuning needs of each cylinder.
What exhaust are you running? The pipe on the rear cylinder is most likely a different length than the front which effects the tune of that cylinder as well.
All good reasons to get your bikes individual cylinders tuned properly by someone who knows what they are doing.
