I wash mine (vivid black) using the tow bucket method then dry with a quality micro fiber / blower. I follow it up with a quality wax. A few times a year I polish it to get out any swirls. I never use a quick detailer spray unless its to take off dried wax. Now my buddy just hoses his of and wipes with a bath towel (pewter) and it looks good ......until you look for the swirls. I guess it all depends on the color. It's a $20k bike, spend a few dollars for some quality products not on a mask. Flame on!

Bugslide. I tried all kind of stuff and have a bunch of cans and bottles in my garage. Bugslide is a 1 step wipe on with microfiber cloth. It's all I use now on my black UC.

The BugSlide sounds great, but man, is it EXPENSIVE! It's the only one seeming to claim anything different in the quickwax category.

They'll know what you're talking about though. I've used it for a few years now, and that's how I shine 'er up. I think it's great stuff. Use it on everything --- paint, seats, windshield --- everything. Spray it on & wipe it off with a clean towel.
Hey flipbel ---- I just looked at a can of it that I happen to have here at the house, and it's called "Original" Spray Cleaner & Polish. The words "Spray Cleaner & Polish" are in red. The can is a 14oz aerosol can. Black, with a black plastic cover, like a can of spray paint. I also have an EG Classic, and you won't believe how well it'll take the bugs off the fairing & windshield. Doesn't take any elbow grease at all, to get the bugs off, and it really shines everything up nice.
thank the epa for that. used to be called honda brite. now they have reformulated hb but it does not work near as well. be sure to get the 'original spray cleaner and polish'. runs about $6.00 a can and works on paint, chrome, glass, and even windshields.

Wouldn't it be best to buy the cheapest if they are all the same.

Anybody aware of any long term problems using pledge. Not sure of the long term effect on clearcoat.
