Hello everyone!!!! I have a question, what product can I buy to shine my EGC? I see car shows on TV and I see people spraying stuff onto a cloth and then just wipeing it onto the surface of the vehicle.

Mequiars Quik Detail works pretty good. I use it on my Hot Rod and my bike.

I also use Lemon Pledge.

Go to a Honda dealer & ask for that spray in the black can --- that was taken off the market for awhile last year. (Must've been some ingredient in it that had to be taken out because it's back on the shelves.) It used to say Honda on it, but I think it's almost a generic thing now. They'll know what you're talking about though. I've used it for a few years now, and that's how I shine 'er up. I think it's great stuff. Use it on everything --- paint, seats, windshield --- everything. Spray it on & wipe it off with a clean towel. I ran out of it last summer, and bought a similar can at a Harley dealer, but it's not the same, plus it's more money. Gave it away after I went by a Honda dealer again. I couldn't care less about going to a Honda shop on a Harley, so unless you're "one of those guys", go get that spray at the Honda dealer.

If you use Honda spray on a Harley, does it go 'wooden wooden woooden' instead of 'potato potato potato?

Hey flipbel ---- I just looked at a can of it that I happen to have here at the house, and it's called "Original" Spray Cleaner & Polish. The words "Spray Cleaner & Polish" are in red. The can is a 14oz aerosol can. Black, with a black plastic cover, like a can of spray paint. I also have an EG Classic, and you won't believe how well it'll take the bugs off the fairing & windshield. Doesn't take any elbow grease at all, to get the bugs off, and it really shines everything up nice.

I agree, that stuff is awesome. I have used it since 2003 when I bought my black VTX. Some Honda car dealers actually sell it too. I have bought it at the local Victory dealer also. Honda had to take their name off of it for some reason but it's still the same stuff. I keep a can of it with me all the time. Great for bugs and road grime. I have never found anything that worked any better including all the Harley stuff.
