Head light is H4 but aux lights are the ones with a right angle base. Forget the number. Same bulb as H3 but the base is part of it. 35 watts stock.

I can only answer part of your question, because I do not have auxiliary lights. I just installed a sylvania Ultra Bright H4 bulb ob the headlight and I love it. So the headlight is H4. Don't know about the Aux. Lights.

You can buy a Aux light housing that takes a H3 bulb.
Honest Abe, Does that bulb put out a lot more light? I have been thinking on buying one.

This is the best bulb for the stock head light....PERIOD!!

http://store.candlepower.com/64205.html

Osram's 70/65W ultra high efficacy +50 H4 bulb, for motorcycles and special-service use, produces more light than any 60/55w bulb: 2000/1350 lumens, high/low beam. It is compatible with most stock wiring harnesses.

One of the UK bike mags, 'Ride', just did a review of H4 headlight bulbs. The 'Philips X-treme Power' came out on top, if you can get it over there.

How much higher wattage will the stock electrical system handle when it comes to headlight bulbs?
