Default Aiming Aux. headlights ??

From what I see you have to remove the turn signal's to do this.
Am I correct?? Why would they make it so difficult ?
Anyone know of an easier way?

TIA

I had to adjust the right side light on my Limited. I just turned it with my hands. Now don't get me wrong, it isn't loose and it doesn't turn easily. But it did turn enough to put it back in line with the left side.

You'll need a deep socket with a slot cut in it for the wires. Then grow a third arm and hand, hold your mouth just right, and prepare to string together the foulest phrases you've ever said. Don't worry, after the 6th or 7th attempt those phrases will come out so easy you'll amaze yourself. Then, after about an hour adjust according to Bigfat's instructions and be done with it.

Sux because they're all messed up, one is up in the tree's and the other is off to one side. Any chance they'll cover it under warrantee ?

I would think you could get the dealer to adjust them under warranty. They should have been set at the dealer set-up on your new bike.
I would sure give it a try!

I asked my dealer to adjust them at my first service. They used the Bigfat method. I ended up making the tool from a deep socket and did it myself with all the necessary swearing. It is a stupid setup. Leave it just loose enough so you can force it to move as in the previous instructions.

When I re-did the driving lights on my 10 RKC, I put a spacer in to get the adjusting nut down to the bottom of the shaft. I can get at it with a wrench now. You may want to think about doing that.

When I did mine I got on and off my bagger so many times that on the 127th time I forgot to put the jiffy stand down! Caught the bike as it was falling. I heard a loud pop and I thought I broke my arm. As it turned out I ruptured my bicep catching the bike....6 weeks off work. Go to bed stupid wake up stupid. By the way I wasn't sipping on a rum during the process so I don't even have a excuse.
