Other than saving space there is no advantage of sitting on a jack.My bikes have always sat on the kickstands on concrete floors, used to cover them. Not anymore I miss seeing them too much over the winter. They always need spring cleaning anyway. No such thing as flat spots on tires.

Mines on the jack every nite, I share the garage with the wife's car. I find it's a lot easier to move the bike around on the jack....Is it spring yet?

I put mine up on a jack for some work... left it there for about 3 weeks... came out one day and it was leaned over on the jiffy... Man was I glad I put the jiffy out! I won't be storing my bike on a jack after that...

you gots to be one crazy s.o.b. to have your scoot on a jack and letting your old lady drive a car around it. thats a recipe for dissaster waiting to happen my friend.

I can't imagine that storing them on a jack would make that much difference. I see a lot of bikes at the dealership sitting on the floor for months. Now if storing them on a jack so you can move them around easier, that is another matter...
