Ness Big Sucker stage 1 chrome backing plate w/ K&N filter off ebay for $100 flat including shipping. Running this for over a yr and no issues. I was going to switch to a small round cover, but I didn't like that you could see the servo motor and wires. Kuryakyn now has a chrome cover to solve the issue, but I got a replacement Kuryakyn cover that I liked.
I went with the SE ventilator, V&H Big Radius and a stage 1 download. Planning on building up the engine and swapping out to better cams fairly soon so I didn't bother with a dyno tune or fuel management system yet. Been running this set-up for about 2500 miles so far with no problems.
Had oil seeping with the Arlen ness big sucker so I went with the SE chrome backplate and ordered the hardware seperatly so I could get the k and N filter instead of the SE filter. Came out cheaper that way.
Hi...

I recommend researching and learning about EFI and all the ins and outs of it. Nothing like the CV carb days...TOTALLY different!
My 2010 Road King actually runs very good without any mods, but the first to go is the A/C. I suggest getting the best you can afford w/a K&N filter.
The fuel injection issues (heat) needs allot of consideration and I recommened reading and evaluating from the forum.
