You ain't gotta climb on the scoot to test it's stability..........just jack it full height and attempt to wiggle the bike....The higher you jack it, the more stable it is
We here ain't no fools...we all know the effects of leverage and understand anyone can knock a bike off any jack if he applies enuff weight far enuff from center....The J&S videos only show me that not enuff leverage was applied, but they also show how stable it is under typical use.
Great choice, well worth it and a great company. The kid had to test mine the first time I had the bike up. I was going to post a pic but it wont cooperate. Sorry.
A "BIG" + on the J & S. Last year I came so close to having my wife's 07 FXDL fall off my red Sears Jack, the Dyna Adapters were a pain in the *ss, had her bike on the lift, after getting it on the jack by having to get the tires uo on 2 X 4's to get the jack under the bike. Had her bike in the raised position and the 2 of the adapters flipped off the rails, almost dropped it. I said never again, purchased a J & S Jack, slides right under it, and is solid & sturdy. Bike has been sitting in the raised position for the last three months!!!!
