Default Broken Passenger floorboard bolt

I just had the passenger floorboard bolt break on my 09 FLHTCU. Needless to say lost the floorboard and extended foot rest
Has anybody had the same problem?

Mine fell off at the dealer one afternoon, they fixed it for me free. Bummer you lost the floorboard.

Yes they will/should. Get the improved 2010 mount and you should be good to go.

Will the 2010 mount fit on an 08UC?

So there is a upgraded mount? That makes me think about how this would have played out if my passenger was in the process of getting on the bike.
