Awesome exhaust stetler. what lowering kit did you use? I spoke with my mechanic yesterday and he said to stay away from lowering the bike. He said he installed a burley kit and the customer hated it. I think he is a little old fashioned though.

I LOVE my Burly kit. Then again I am 31 years old too!
I'll play... 21/18 80 spoke wheels. Front lowered 1.5" w/ progressive springs and heavier fork oil. Rear lowered 2.5" by Bitchin' Baggers custom shocks.
My bike handles great. Not loose at slow or highway speeds. It corners great and the looks it gets............well, you can see!
Bike looks good! Did you relocate your wires under the rear fender at all with the lower shocks? I have the same set up on my rk with 21/18 80 spokes but the rear looks like a dirt bike sitting so high up with stock shocks.

I did not have to relocate the wires under my rear fender. No rubbing issues. The Bitchin' Baggers custom shocks are really the only way to go in terms of getting low and maintaining somewhat of a stock ride. They can customize them to whatever drop you want from .5" to 2/75". Here is there website:
Should of knocked on wood. Last night my rear wiring harness burned through from rubbing on the tire. I had to ride home at 11:30 at night about 45 miles with no running lights or brake lights.
