Jay I went from a 95 Ultra to an 09. talk abouot going from a covered wagon to a rolls royce ! I'm ordering the low seat tomorrow and getting ready for riding season.
I know you'll enjoy the ride. If the wife rides with you, go ahead and get some headsets. It's nice to be able to go down the road and talk. Much better than her thumping my ear and screaming " I gotta pee"

Congrats, we have the same bike... I just put a couple hundred miles on mine yesterday... Took delivery last July 3rd in the UK, put 4k on it and am damn happy to be riding on american roads again.

Hope you saved the tour pack to sell here or to someone you know. Be a waste if you didn't since HD don't give us anything for add-on's on a trade-in. I learned that one the hard way and it still sticks in my craw. Lesson learned.
You know if you gave up the radio, abs, tourpack, and about a hundred other things, you could have a bike like my 99 FLHT.
Of course mine does handle better than a brandy new one since putting the Ohlins rear shocks, Ricor Intiminators, and Progressive Touring Link products on it but it's still just an old bike now. 
Congrats Jay!! You're certainly enjoying the fruits of your long hours and hard labor during your working years just as you should.
