09+ Rear Tire Replacement Frustration
A couple weeks ago I ordered the new Dunlop American Elite rear tire from a vendor I will not name (don't think it's their fault). I called after a week of not getting a shipping status and they tell me it looks like it will be Sept before they are able to ship....back ordered till then I guess.
Has anyone found a rear tire (other than D407) for the 09+ that is in stock and ready to ship???? Preferably for a good price. And able to run with my brand new D408....???? Anyone running a proven different size tire on stock rims with no mods?
I need a tire NOW.

Couldn't find anything in a 180 65 16 size there. Thanks for the site though I'll save it for later.

Motorcycle super store shows a 180 60 or 70 16,no 65 tho..

Do we still only have one choice?? I need tires for a upcomming Alaska trip and I really don't wanna put the same tires back on my 09 Ultra!!

Check the availability before you order....
As far as I know, no one has anything available in the stock size.
The best price I found on the stock D407 rear tire was from Latus HD. Got it for 200 shipped and installed it myself.
Hopefully next time something else will be available and in stock.
