I think what you really want to know is what's the largest tire that will fit in the fender. You can put a lot wider tire on the rim than you can fit on your bike without rubbing the belt or fender.

I got a Dunlop Elite 3 160-80-16 on my '08 Electra Glide.
It's close to the belt guard but fits no problem.
Seems a lot of people use that tire without problems.
That's about as big as it gets without mods.
I still have stock tire on the front.
When the front tire goes, i'll proly get a E3 there too.
