Well I think is should be like any other headlight bulb socket plug just pull it off with a slight wiggle. Well I have squeezed and wiggled till my fingers are numb. I wound up almost breaking off the tabs coming out of the bulb and I said the heck with it and unscrewed on of the screws holding the spring wire holding the bulb in. Thanks
ah ha, but there is a solution. if you go to napa you can get a headlight plug that has the three slots that will fit your bulb. be sure to not use the plastic type as the amperage will perhaps melt it. go for the bakelite type. they're 5 or 6 bucks, and you can easily solder and shrink tube them and trash that pigtail that was designed by the devil himself. those stock plugs are a real pain in the noogleberries. easily replaced if you are handy with a soldering gun and shrink tube though.
