Default Back pressure

Had another rider try to tell me I needed to change my pipes to lower the back pressure today! I'm thinking I need to go the other way
(currently V&H Power Duals and Klock Works mufflers).

He told you that just by looking at the bike? He must be one of the best motorcycle mechanics on the planet. Pass his number out please. Just kidding, what made him say that?

Beats me - I was riding a 2010 and he had a 2004? Funny how often someone on an older bike assumes you're riding your first Harley and that they need to dispense their "wisdom"! Better yet he offered up this gem, unsolicited, while we were stopped at a light together. I'd blame it on the fact he was riding a Softail but I have one too! Maybe he couldn't tell my pipes weren't stock . . .
