my 07 always ON never burned any wires or fuses in 3yrs this month, cagers can see you better now have less people pulling out in front of me. There is a black and orange wire not connected below the headlight behind the fairing orange is always hot. peel back the plastic wire wrap cut a few zip ties find where the passing lamp wires are. cut the yellow wire its looks like a y splice this is where the pwr on low beams feeds the lamps. tape off that end spilce the orange always hot to the other. the spot switch will cut them on and off if needed just another way. There is another post covering this method somewhere
this mod was already on my scoot when I purchased it and never had a problem my passing lamps are always on even if i have the hi beams on they stay on.
My '06 Ultra does not have a (circuit) fuse larger than 15amps, how could it be 20amps?
Different year?
The fuse is the weak link, not the switch. A switch is only a manual circuit breaker. The fuse actually protects your wiring and your switch and the devices powered through the fuse. Most all toggle type switches are rated to, at least 20 amps.
If you have an existing switch which is rated at less than 10 amps, a relay is normally used to make and break the circuit which feeds a load of a higher amperage than the existing switch will carry. A relay is a simple device which is used to open and close contacts in an electrical circuit. It is basically a solenoid which can be operated by much less amperage than is required to operate the device which is the circuit load. The solenoid opens and closes the contacts in the higher amperage circuit.
I know that some people would not like the looks, but another alternative is to add yellow colored lenses to the passing lights. It has been proven that yellow is the most noticed color for motorists.
This is one place to get them. I do not have any association with them but the Minnesota Department of Transportation also says that yellow is the most noticed color.

I have looked and can not find the post for this... any idea where it might be?
I would HOPE our charging system is not on the "Ragged edge" of it's capacity so as they don't want hi/driving lights on... wow.
I am also sure it's because of the "LAW" Heck, when I go to Hi beam on my F-350 and Pontiac Grand Prix the driving lights go off,,, so it has to be the legal issue.
But heck, Laws are made to be broken,, right? (When I install some kind of driving light, it will for sure be on with the hi beams)
