Default Lowered front, now got clunking noise...

I put a set of Progressive springs in my RK to lower it 2". Now I get a clunk when I hit some bumps, but not all of the time. Seems intermittent, or a stiff bump. Rides great. I put the right amount of fluid in....So any suggestions?? It is kind of annoying!! Also, I have tried to post pics, but cant seem to get it to work.....They are uploaded to photobucket, but wont transfer to this sight by using the suggestions from the other forums.....Nevermind, got a thumbnail version to work anyway....

When i put the progressive kit in mine i was going to go with the 2" drop, but when i checked the travel while it was still in the vise i found it only had 1 3/4 of travel before bottoming out.so i just went 1" I havent heard any noises,I would say your bottoming out. Just the weight of the bike once you stand it up compresses the forks a little which gives you less travel.

Too low with your weight added perhaps?

I had the same problem when I had my lowering springs put in. It would make a metal clanking when the forks extended and then compressed. It was some hardware (washers) that was installed incorrectly. Dealer finally nailed it and I now ride nice and quiet.
