This is, indirectly, a touring question. I am searching for decent quality rain gear for travel. Riding two up for week long rides on an Ultra Classic (with no trailer) only allows so much packing room. I am looking for rain gear with the following features.
1. Must pack reasonably small
2. Must have heat resistant panels on legs to avoid melting on pipes.
3. No lining necessary although the mesh linings are ok.
4. Easy on/off. Large leg openings for boots.
5. Prefer 2 piece suit.
I currently use the inexpensive vinyl type suit and it has seen better days. I have looked at the Harley brand, Nelso-Rigg and Xelement.
I am sure someone reading this thread has experience with good quality, packable rain gear. let me know what you use.
HD high visibility suit. Stay amazingly dry through very heavy downpours. I'm very impressed with this suit.
This is an awesome rain suit. Both myself and the wife have one. Never get wet, comfortable, fast drying, lightwaight and packs up smaller than a football. Give em a shot. I am very happy with this HD product
