I shipped my 8" X stream back and it did not have this fitment issue: they did receive it this week (via tracking) and I am still looking for the 10" replacement. I am hoping the 10" will work with the HD 3 bag setup... If not I'll try the Classic flip.
Still have not recieved new shield, when I bought the first one he shipped on Monday and I got it on Thursday, he emailed me he shipped the replacement last Friday and still no shield, I'm leaving to go to Daytona and wanted to test it on the ride over, I've called Long Ride and no answer, hopefully it will be here when I get back and I can test it and give you an update, as of now I'm not to happy with the experience
you're not too happy with your experience because the usps is slow to deliver your shield? what would of made you happy? if he personally drove over and hand delivered your shield?
anytime you have a human involved in something mistakes are gonna happen. the true measure of a company is how they handle those mistakes. personally, my experience with them has been stellar. and from what i've seen from those that have had issues, they've been standup there as well.
I have the 10" with my T-Bags shield bag installed - I don't think you'll have a problem...
I have been asking for someone to post a side photo of the 10" with the 3 bag pouch system but so far no pic. If you could would you post a shot of the gap, between the bag and shield... This is the 8" with 3 bag pouch...
I hope it fits better than this.
As you can see it pushes and turns the outside bags back and down...
I'll try to snap something - But I can tell you with the 10" and the T-bag, there is no gap (except the slight gap that's there because I have 1/4" self-stick neoprene in between the bag & the shield). I would imagine the HD pouch would be the same (I have the two-bag in the garage somewhere... Not nearly as wide, but definitely not quite as tall as the T-Bag either).

If you have the T bags they sit lower on the edges than the HD 3 bag pouch setup. That is what I pictured above... I did see the T bags and thought if I like the 10" I may have to consider the T bag setup.
skratch, your opinion means nothing to me I do not appreciate your comments, I bought my shield on 2/21 , recieved it in 3 days, would not line up , fit was terrible, emailed Matt, he said sorry sent out the 1.0 by mistake I'll resend the 2.0 so you can have it on 3/3 or 3/4 , 2.0 arrived 3/8 , it fits and lines up but leaves a gap in top of fairing on both sides (inner and outer fairing will not come together) I've emailed Matt back to find out where he wants to go from here ,no responce yet, I never got on here and slammed or bad mouthed Matt, but to say as of now I am not happy with the experience would be stating it mildly, and if you don't like it who cares, Matt has been friendly and responsive but the bottom line is I have paid for a shield and still do not have one that works, when I was not happy with the shipping it's because I was taking a trip and wanted to try it out, had it gone out USPS Priority Mail like I was told it would 3 day delivery would have been guaranteed and there would have been a tracking number available, when it finally got reshipped a tracking number was automatically sent to me, I wonder why
Matt just contacted me, this gap at the top is an issue on some bikes, he thinks they have figured out a way to fix it, when it is fixed all who have the problem will get new shields, I'll keep you updated
