Default Two map success

After seeing the tread about using two maps with the PCV I emailed Jamie for a better MPG map. I installed a switch and the 2nd map and went for a 200 mi ride. I got 41 mpg. That’s by far the best I have got since installing my stage 1 system. The bike seems to run the same to me. See how the heat is once summer arrives.

I got mine from Jamie too. I'm taking my bike up to him in another month or two to have him install the Woods cams, and at that time I'm going to have him dyno it, and give me a second map as well. Looking forward to it.

worst about 25, best 39 (that was riding the south rim of the Grand Canyon at 35 mph). That 41 was mostly highway, but about half doing 85 on the I-15 (have to go that fast to keep from getting run over).

What switch did you use and where did you install the switch?

On the Street Glide, you've got an accessory switch on the far right of your batwing that can be used to switch back and forth between maps. On my bike that switch is currently being used for my LED lights, so I'll buy another switch and install it on the left side (that's usually used on the Ultras), and use that to toggle back and forth between maps.

Be careful to ensure the voltage is disconnected when using that accessory switch.

You need a non-powered on-off switch.

I used a 1.50 metal on off switch from Advanced auto parts.. and bought a rubber cover for it to weather proof it. My switch is next to my top right gauge. Barely noticeable.

Not seeing much for better MPG though. Averaging 36 MPG on my MPG map and 36 MPG on my HP map.

Both from Fuelmoto. Need more time to be sure though.

I got a simple on/off switch at Auto Zone, about 4 bucks. Put it under the seat on the left side. Had to drill out an existing hole, then ran the wires to the PCV. Works fine, and hard to see.Two map success-dscn9430.jpg
