Has anyone used them? They have a small following on the CVO forum. The ones that have used them claim they perform better than Progressive 440s. They also have a lifetime warranty.
If anyone has input on these specific shocks please contribute your findings. Thanks.
Sorry if you are feeling lonely out there! I hadn't heard of that brand, but there is another following in this touring forum for Ohlins, custom built by Howard at Motorcycle Metal. He is a HDF sponsor and gives attractive discounts. I have just fitted a pair although I haven't ridden the bike yet. I am sure he can build them for CVO models as well!
Haven't used them but did just talk to them at the Vtwin dealer expo ealier this month. If everything he was saying is true then they are a great shock for the price. The guy I talked to was very knowledgable and honest. He even said that his shocks did not even compare or were inthe same catagory as the Ohlins. I put him on the spot a couple of times to give me his honest opinion of the difference and he said that for most riders they would not see the difference in the ohlins and his but anyone who actually uses their bike to the fullest would be better off with the ohlins but given the option of the progressive or other store bought ones these would outperform. And the price point was decent too. Hopefully we will get some seat in the pants reviews shortly
these shocks are better than progressive according to the feedback i've gotten. better engineering, with a better price and customer service along with killer looks and a lifetime warranty.
Not much info on their website, so I tried to call to find out if they could be adjusted at a gas stop or, say, in the hotel parking lot, since after running loaded with 80lbs of stuff, I want to be able to change it for just two up no baggage riding...
After 15 minutes on the phone I've come to the conclusion that the guy who answered the phone thinks I'm some kind of idiot for asking a question, and I still don't know if the preload can be adjusted and what's involved...

There are other quality shocks out there so spending $500+ on an unknown product seems like fools errand to me. Ohlins from Howard can't be hardly any more, heck I think mine were $500 shipped to my house. The #2 version. Most riders will never need more shock than this, only their ego will.
