Get way more Bass. I can feel in in the floorboards. The RG Tweeter Pod brings the highs. Did the 5x7's, turned it on and tested them. Sounded great. Once the tweeter pod was hooked up, I was impressed.
Don't get me wrong, the 5x7's were great. Much improved bass than the 902.2 that I had in. The tweeter pod was the icing.
I just put in the 5 x 7 kit for my 09 RG Got in my first 300 mile ride in yesterday with them, All I can say is @ 75mph you can hear every note! My buddy would tell me when to switch CDs when we would slow down cause he could listen to bon jovi
from behind me!! Can you do better? I do not think for the money, and the install was simple.
Is this a one time, no need to spend any more money on amps and speakers good?

shucks - I wish I was around when this deal was offered...I would like to deal with the factory straight up but for a fairly large difference in price...
Count me in..I'm ready I need to connect my GPS to power may as well install speakers and AMP ...Ohhh yeah...Any takers for the discounts yet ?? Pm me if needed..As stated a picture is worth a thousand words..Thanks I am sold !!.Bill
Not for anything BUT a thought. If you're putting these in the stock size openings... and even WITH adapters etc... it would seem you will be blocking a significant portion of the speaker and perhaps end up with other issues... with parts of the speaker itself contacting the fairing itself etc... Now if you are enlarging that stock opening, I'd think ur good to go.
It seems by the pictures posted here that 5x7's are the same size as the factory opening? It looks like the adapter would not block any sound. Can any one confirm?
