The Wheels I am running are 81-82 HD Mags with the MT 90-16 Tires and the HD Owners manual states that presure for that wheel and that tire! I
scanned a copy of the pages but can't figure out how to attach it !

Flying,
I was just searching for some info on tire pressure and found your post seems like my original owners manual was wrong, I have an FX owner’s manual states 24 F / 26 R, I always thought that was light, well in the newer HD Service (shop) manual for ’84 the same info states 30 F / 32 R

Should show anyone nothing is forever even spec’s any model just keep an eye out for changes.

Ps: lets see if this scan works, I did it as a .jpg, hope it is small enough.

Take care

If it's just me then 36/36, but with a passenger 36/40.

On my Heritage I always ran 36 and 40 rear.

The new Limited came delivered with 42/42. I'm not sure I am going to leave it there. It rides a little rough.

40 front and rear.

I have a tire pressure monitering system on my rims and you'd be shocked just how much the air pressure changes and by how much.

Take a look at some information on Harley tire pressures that are out there…
This should make anyone make sure where one gets info, when looking at this no-one should have any doubt that there are sites that could give a damn about your safety, they only care about GREEN and maybe a touch of fuel savings and to hell with your safety !!!!

This site is called

While we are on the subject of air pressure I am using this and it works really well.
It clamps on the valve stem and then you can read the gauge as you put the air in.
No more of: put some air in then recheck, put some more air in and recheck, ect ect
