I just purchased a new 2010 street glide and want to get rid of stock exhaust use to run a bagger with wild pigs with 2" baffles. I am looking for something the same but maybe alittle louder. Was going to put on Bassani scalloped slip ons with 2" baffles, sert , se heavy breather and dresser duals but then dealer showed me the new nightstick slip on that was on new road glide and said no tuner needed and alot cheaper than other set up. Not sure which way to go but first option is alot more money. I don't think I would be happy with queitness of the nighstick never heard one opened up. Didn't sound too bad reving in shop. I also can't find a sound clip for stock motor with bassani's with 2" baffles. Aslo if cops have problem with exhaust there is not any smaller baffles to install. Need advice adding stuff to bike in two days. Looking for a reasonable way to make new bike sound like a harley and really think bagger should have dual exhaust.
JMHO......Go with a set of true dules, Air cleaner and race tuner, you'll love the sound and also how it runs. With the investment you all ready have in a Sweet Glide.......... you might have to eat frozen pizza's for dinner for a few months, in the long run you'll be glad u went with the real deal !!
u wont like the pigs, i had the 2 inch and i though the 1 3/4 were louder. besides i think they sound like dog ****, but everyones taste in sound is different.
Same boat my friend Ive just got a Flat black 2010 Road Glide stock exhaust suxs but had true dual rienhardts on my 2006 streetglide but looking for louder and prouder and want to have some good numbers down to the ground..........?????????????
