Default Help me choose - performance or comfort

I have a pretty much stock 2006 electra glide classic and have a couple of bucks to burn on it.

I was going to purchase and install a stage one kit (pipes, a/c, power commander III). I’m a light guy, so I’ve never really complained about the performance, but wanted a little more sound and a little more power is never a problem.

Then, I found a smoking hot deal on a new set of hard lowers. Which, where I live would make riding a little more comfortable in the colder yet able to ride months… which if the snow ever melts, will be fast upon us.

So, if you had to pick… performance or comfort, what would it be?

Thanks!

- Jerm

I want to be comfortable first, especially if you take long rides.
Having said that, I put stage one on after about 1k miles

If it's a "Smokin Hot" deal on the lowers as you say, I'd get the lowers...

You can always add lowers or engine mods. I would start with comfort then hop the bike up later.

I'd go stage one with new mufflers. It'll be like a new bike.

I'd get the lowers, I bought chaps and have only used them once in 30,000 miles.
