I'm looking to go with a set. Yeah I know they're just covers and I should go Harley Chrome for real but I don't want to have the possible dis-assembly problems.
So I'm looking for a 2008 FLHTC with Cruise and Stereo Controls.
I think its
#1740 Chrome Brake & Clutch Control Dress up kit
#1742 Chrome Switch Housings
Is this all I need?
I bought a set on eBay from a dealer 2orangeharleys and they sold me the wrong ones and they werent complete either.
I was just going back and forth with the same thing. I knew I wanted the HD ones but I had already done a bunch of mods over the winter and really didn't want to spend all the cash. After thinking about it for weeks I ended up just biting the bullet and buying the HD ones. My bike is in storage at the dealer and they are putting them on along with the chrome brake reservoir and levers this week. Can't wait to see it when its finished. Good luck with your project.
I went back and fourth on the same issue. I went with the Kury set up. I have a few Kury chorme covers on my bike an am pleased with the chorme work so far.
