Yesterday I bought my first Harley. The fairing and seat show alot of wear. I'm having a hard time finding replacement parts online. Does anyone know if the seats or radios on the newer Electra Glide or Road King will fit my 1987 FLH? Thanks for your help.
Probably not as the frames are not the same however you can still find aftermarket seats and even radios that will work well.You can try E-bay as they always seem to have a varitey of parts.
Good luck on the radio. I had a early 87. None were available at the time I traded it in in 07. Late 87 and later won't fit without sawing out your inner fairing.
If your seat base is in good condition you could have it recovered. Browse the seat covering threads here as there is at least one trader who gets good reviews.
