I just got my PM air cleaner today. Looks great. Do you need to take the a/c apart to put that sock on?

 

Has anyone just thought about getting a pair of black panty hose or stocking from their wife or significant other? If it were me I would only put it on if it looked like rain. Much cheaper and when it stops raining you dont have to stop to remove it.

 

Yes, that one in the large picture above is absolutely pointless, IMO- you do have to remove the five bolts to put this on- not very practical when the one piece slip on like the one I mentioned from outerwears is available.

 

Why would you want to remove the rain sock...looks?
Just install it and leave it on.
There isn't enough 'resistance' to effect the power output.

 

Can anyone please tell me if the rain sock covering the RSD air filter above would fit the new RSD Turbine air cleaner.

 

Is the custom cover good? How did it work for you? Just saw this thread while searching. Needing a good solution for rain cover.
