9" shield too much wind?

Like everyone says; it depends on torso, riding position and seat. I have a 10" Clearview with the recurve. I'm 5' 11" and I just look over the top. It's all about experimenting to find the optimum height.

If you don't get a windshield with recurve at the top you are going to get blasted. I put a 8" w/recurve (CLEARVIEW) on mine and I'm 5'10" and look right over the top and get no buffeting.

I ran a 6 inch on my E-Glide for a while. Too Low. 8 inch or 9 inch is as low as I would go. 9 inch was perfect for me, still good wind protection.

Go on the Clearview site and read their instructions for picking a shield.
If you pick one too short in most instances it's ok. But ride into a headwind for any
length of time and you'll be greatly disappointed.

I;m 5'10 and the 6.5 curved clearview is perfect for me. With the stock windshield the wind rattled my glasses blurring my vision. the 6.5 corrects that. also the rain goes over me
