Added the chrome starter cover and the chrome inner primary cover. Loved the way it dressed up the bike.
Starter cover took the longest. hints: remove right bag, remove right plastic side cover (almost scratched mine). Then after you have followed the instructions on bolts to remove, add, etc, it then becomes like trying to stuff a fat chick in a corvette! you gotta twist, cuss, push, retry, push, angle it, then a firm tap and it's on. then bolt it up...but it sure makes the open area where the starter is shine up!
I put that starter cover on last week. Just kinda fell into place. Didn't take off either bag, heat deflector or side cover. No cussing either...
don't know why mine was such a pain, but I guess it's like anything. lot of guys complaining of putting on the stage 1 AC and the bolts, having to lift the tank, etc....to me that was easy and I didn't have to lift the tank go figure lol
Mine chrome starter cover has vibrated loose. I think I am gonna have to remove the starter to fix it. The bottom bracket is wedged and I cant tighten the nut nor remove it!!! MOTHER %$&^%
