I have a Port-A-Chopper that I used to haul my old Deuce. Now have an Electra Glide and haven't hauled with it yet but I'm not concernced about. I used to haul my Deuce from Florida to Texas several times and was uneventful everytime. http://www.portachopper.com/
Trailer.... used to haul things that cannot propell themselves, such as dirt, bricks, lumber...
can also be used to haul vehicles that cannot be legaly driven or ridden on federal or state roads. UNDER RARE EXCEPTIONS MAY BE USED TO HAUL A HARLEY TO A DESTINATION, but to reduce the risk of rude jokes, the motorcycle should be kept under cover.
IMO, you can buy a nice utility/landscaping trailer for $1200. and have it for multi-purpose uses. Just a thought!!
X2 thats what I use also. I was going to buy an enclosed trailer but after pulling a buddies to daytona and back I said to heel with that. When we took the enclosed trailer it cost me $780 in gas round trip the next year I pulled my little trailer and it cost me just shy of $400. So for that kinda savings I'll gladly re-detail my bike when I get there.
Now that's cool, it only took 6 responses to get to the douche bag.*
I like the open trailer deal for the multi purpose aspect but storage can be a problem for some which makes that kendon look sweet. I have a 5 x 10 cargo to travel with that's perfect for my UC and I don't care how much gas It takes to pull it and I like pulling my mini garage.

I tow my Ultra Classic behind a fifth wheel trailer. In some states it is illegal to double tow. My thought was that if I was pulled over and told to unhook the Ultra/trailer I could disasseble the trailer (it comes apart very easily) put it in the bed of the pick-up and follow my wife on the bike to the border and re-hook-up. I was just wondering if anyone else uses a trailer-in-a-bag and if they have had any problems with it or how they like it.
