I have ordered from CHD many times and have been happy with the results most of the times but it seems like orders are taking longer to get lately. My last order was placed on 2-6 and got email on 2-8 saying parts were on order from MOCO. Called on 2-27 to check on order and was told all parts were in stock except one that wouldn't be in stock until 3-15. He asked if I wanted all the other parts shipped and I told him yes. I just received a email today(3-10) saying parts will be shipped and fedex just got shipping orders today. I may be sending my business to another dealer.

It's inconceivable that it should take that long to get parts from Chicago HD. From what I gather in reading these posts, they are blaming the delay on getting the parts from the MoCo. My local dealer can get parts from the MoCo in two days. I know this because I've paid retail and at times they have had to order the parts and they have always told me it takes two days for them to get the parts in. Chicago HD obviously wants internet sales business because their website prominently displays their 20% discount policy on internet orders. So why would they take such a gamble on losing repeat business because of their substandard shipping process?

Default Match em

I just asked my local shop if they would match them and they said sure. So now I get 20% at the local shop, get the part in hand and get the dealer reward points for free stuff. It helps to build a relationship with the local guy!!

I buy my parts where I bought my bike and have been very happy. Lucky me, I shop at Chicago Harley. Erick, you're the best.
