[sarcasm]WHAT?!?!? You have 80,000 miles on a stock compensator??!? Don't you know those stock compensators are supposed to grenade your whole bike into a million pieces at 2,000 miles and beyond?!?! The nerve of you riding so many miles on a stock compensator!! I'm appalled!

Do you clunk?[/sarcasm]

At 80k I would change the stator, engine-primary oil seal, tensioner pad (if necessary), primary chain, and clutch disks if they are the originals--or at least check them closely. I had to replace the oil seal in my old RK at 88k and replaced all of the above, most of which were ready enough for replacement but not in eminent danger of failure. I figured I might as well while it was apart.

Only Commando's running 255 cams will have these problems, this guy won't have your problems.

Those are not even the same comp as the 07 and up. Other than the odd one loosening up they gave little problems.
