So, I tear out the F/R of the RG a few weeks ago.......Replaced Throttle lines, Front Brake lines, Change Fork Oil, Polish the sliders, change all the fluids.....Basic pre-summer ride go over...... I had a few friends over & I was working on another bike's F/E when they start puting mine back together........I am hoping they just forgot to plug something up but here's the deal........
The Switch for the Cruise control lights up when flipped......When it's activated, I get the Red dial in the tach.......When I engage the CC button at the switch box, the Light on the dial on the Tach turns green as it should, but I get NO CC...... I have checked the brake switch & it's fine......I also noticed my left turn indicator light is out (could have burnt out??)
I have NOT pulled the plastic Houseing out from around the Speedo yet to see if a plug is undone or maybe 1/2 way plugged in & I haven't traced to see if they pluged the CC wire from the Throttle cable to the CC unit.......
Any suggestions before I tear all his stuff apart again?
As you can se in the pics, I had her torn down pretty well & The " BOSS" kept us all in line for the most part!! LOL!!!!!
Thanks!
If it worked before the tear down,I would assume that something is not connected correctly.
And I noticed in your pic that your jack was not locked.Your lucky it did not bleed down and make the bike fall over!
