Default FBI detachable hardware

Has anyone use the Detachable hardware kit for a tour pack from Fat Bagger Inc. if so how do you like it. What year bike did you install it on and do you have any pictures of it and the mounting system? It is a lot cheaper the the HD kit.

I have it on my 2010 SG and love it. It's the cleanest look you can get. I open my bags when i put it on so I don't scratch anything.

How does it mount? Does it use the same HD docking points. I have the FBI backrest relocation kit and it provides a mounting point under the strut covers and uses the shock mounting point.

tour pack kit uses the same mounting point(s) as what you have now. front is the strut covers, rear is the mounting point as used with the backrest kit.

If I were to do it over again I would go with FBI over the harley gear that I am using. I think the look is a whole lot cleaner.

Thanks for the info. FBI actually returned my email today. I guess I will be buying their tour pak mount; just a much cleaner look all around.
