I seem to be having the same issue, right around 75MPH there is a vibration in the front. I only have dyna beads in the front tire, the rear was balanced with lead weights. I am thinking about adding another 1-2 oz. of beads to the front to see if that helps (I have 2 oz. in now).

I have an 05 Ultra. I am on my third rear tire (E-3's) caught a screw in one... and my second front tire (also an E-3) using Dyna Beads to balance them. The bike is so smooth (for a Harley) that it's a joy to ride. Also I changed out my 1st E-3 front tire at 29,700 miles. I thought it might be "snake oil" but the beads work & will continue to go in my tires....

It appears we need more testimony on using dyna-beads at higher speeds i.e. 75+.

Default Dyna beads

dyna-beads dont fly off like weights, never had any problems with them run fine at 20 or 100 makes no difference . And your rims never have the glue from weights and just look better without them. Also you can buy them on Ebay.

I took mine out and went back to weights. No more vibration. I'd like to hear if anyone corrected their own vibration problems they experienced with dyna beads. I hate taking tires in to be balanced when I can do everything else myself.

Default Dynabeads solved my 70+ vibration

The dealer put on a new 408 tire to replace the 407 and at 70+ I was getting a heavy vibration. The tire was balanced and it had (2) 3/4oz weights removed the weights and put in 2 oz of Dynabeads and now the vibration has been reduced by about 80%. I was skeptical but am now sold.

Have never used dynabeads, but in my last ultra and my new one I use a product called Ride- On. Seals, balances, and lets the tire run cooler(longer life)

You can also buy the beads direct from http://www.foxindustries.com/ for about $ 7.00 a pound . If you don't like the beads you can get a balancer from

I just installed dunlop Elite 3's and dyna beads in both wheels last week after hearing about the improvements. I rode 225 miles yesterday and could not be happier. My bike has never road so smooth and I would highly recommened them.

P.S., I bought them straight from Dyna Beads. I also ordered a set for my trailer.
