Default Popping on Decel

My bike started popping on decel a month or so ago, and now does it every single time I decelerate. Any ideas?

The bike has a SE Race Tuner and was Dyno Tuned a couple of years ago. Can the settings change on their own?

Oh yeah, the bike is running fine other than the popping.

For starters I would check your exhaust gaskets to make sure there are no leaks.

Has the exhaust been changed in any way? Are the baffles still in the mufflers?

I haven't changed anything since the Dyno was done two years ago. The baffles are in. I will check to make sure everything is tightened down later today.

plus 1 on the exhaust leaks. Run your hand down the pipes around the connections. May be able to feel the pulse of the exhaust, even though you can't hear it.

I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone has a similar problem.... mine turned out to be a cracked crossover pipe. Unfortunately the bike is no longer under warranty -- $210 for the pipe and $120 for the install. Oh, and they don't have it in stock

Stock head pipes are a dime a dozen, check Ebay or just look around for somebody that is running true duals or a 2 into 1 and ask them what they did with there stock ones. Or just have the crack welded.

Was going to suggest that...I just replaced the crossover on my 07RKC..spent the 210, install was easier than I thought....
