Does anybody know if a Corbin solo seat and touring passenger pillion for a 2000 Road King will fit on a 2006 Street Glide? Got a good line on one with a backrest for a great price, but not sure if I have have fitment issues.
Definitely check with Corbin, but my gut tells me it won't fit right. I think the dash is different enough on the SG that the seat tongue won't engage properly.
Traditionally, Road King seats fit on Street/Electra Glides but require a dash extention since the dash on a Road King is longer. Not sure if this is true for a Corbin but I would imagine so.
I contacted Corbin and they said that it would fit, but that it "might not look right". I'm not sure what that means, that's why I was hoping someone on the forum had tried to fit an old seat from their RK onto a new SG that they now owned.
If I'm not mistaken the Road Glides and Electra Glides require the adapter kit not the Street Glides when using HD Roak King seats. I currently have a Road King Sundowner Solo seat on my SG and do not need any sort of adapter kit.
Well I guess I should say it will fit but it won't match up with the tank panel.I tried it with a Corbin seat for a RK Custom the week I bought my bike because there were no seats available at the time and it looked like crap.

Thank you, that's the kind of first hand experience/advice I was hoping for.
I put a stock Road King custom Seat on my SG. It is more narrow then the stock SG seat which helps. But it doesn't fit/look right. The seat seems a bit loose and there is a bit of a gap at the nose of the seat.
It will fit perfect, the streetglide has a different dash piece, it takes a road king seat to fit it, if you try a regular electra glide seat it will ride up over that chrome tank piece .
