I went V&H Monster Ovals, Roar when get in it but mellow on the steady run, V&H now has a Monster Round as well. Toned down my ride from the Hookers that were on it.
I am looking to add true duals to mine to replace the stock head pipes and eliminate the crossover.

I took them off my 07 when I traded for my 010 Ultra. This winter I put Vance Hines dresser duals on with the S E slip ons, a set of 255 cams, air cleaner and a race tuner. Took the bike for my first ride today and damn that thing was loud, got up on the highway and could tell this aint going to work.

I am going to check with SuperTrapp for a quieter set of baffles, any other suggestions on slip ons that might be quieter than the SE slip ons I have.
I use the Jackpot mufflers with the silent baffle in each side and they flow really well plus you can make them as quiet as stock if you want. I also have a set of S&S SPO mufflers for sale in touring .

I was told by my mechanic that Supertrapp used to produce the older version of the Screaming Eagle slipons for Harley Davidson, and that the Supertrapp SE's were the same as the older version Screaming Eagles. I have a 103ci, 255 set up and the sound is not objectionable.

You might also want to take a look at a set of V&H's Monster Ovals..not too loud and nice low rumble at idle.

I don't know, I hear that too but these sound lower, making them not as loud as Screaming Eagles I have had and heard.

I put the cored stockers on this afternoon and they are far from loud. A little airy for lack of a better word in some lower rpms, decent volume for idling, but they would be perfect if they would just bark when you really romped on it. Not quite so responsive to the throttle as the SE's but not horrible. Cheap PC slip-on to avoid police harrassment.

The V&H MO have the deepest and best volume (yet respectable) rumble around. EBAY always has them 4-sale...
