Question for hk/xm owners

Looking for feedback on reception with the xm antenna under the fairing,just intalled mine tonight and in the garage the reception sucks! Thanks for any replys

Be sure you're outside and not in the garage when testing. Satellite radio doesn't work good in a garage. Needs line of sight to the satellites.

Mine works perfectly.
Ummm....You did roll it OUT of the garage when you tested it, right? None of my xm radios have a signal when I pull into the garage.

I just had the dealer installed the XM module along with the antenna. So far I have reception issue. Is anyone else have a reception problem with their XM? The antenna was mounted according to the instructions. It was activated out in the open. What's up with that, if everyone else is getting good reception?

Mine works as good as the one in my car and truck. This morning the wife says she did not have a signal, this afternoon it's back to normal. In rural area's you will have reception issues when the tree canopy covers most of the road, no matter how an antenna is installed
