Question Broken Front Brake Switch???

So I think I broke the switch but after reading the other threads about this the symptoms are different. With the ignition on the taillight is out and no brake light. When I turn it to accessory no taillight but the brake light comes on.

Any ideas?

When I pulled the lever off and operated the switch with my finger I got the same result.

Ok, now I feel like an idiot! So I did take the lever off the other day to try and improve the fit and that's why I thought that I broke the switch when putting it back on. I also put on a new taillight so when I just checked that one of the connectors came loose and made it operate that way.

Dumb
