What do you not like about the bike? Everyone probably started somewheres different. For me the bars had to go, they were extremely uncomfortable. Then minor performance mods and then mods for looks and function.
Yeah It all depends on what important to you. I did motor upgrades, then bars, and still working my way down the list. Some will say exhaust, and some will say windshield, or seat. Again it's what you want to do.
I'm wondering where to start. What mods do you recommend? I'm thinking cruise for sure. Detachable backrest....But what else?
I think it's a personal thing, Get the mods. that you would enjoy be it performance, ergo's or looks. It's up to you now. Enjoy the ride. Oh yea, I bought tank badges before I even bought the bike and since changed those as well, Did a Fuel Moto stage 1, nostalgia grips, fog lights, Axel covers, regulator cover, 8" Clearview, passenger rest and stealth rack,run-stop-turn module,run-stop tri bar light and Mustang lid covers. But that's just me.

Thats just it I'm still smiling. My sporty and Dyna...Yup knew right away but damn the SG is a good looking scooter.
I have an '09 RG that came with cruise. I would highly recommend adding cruise! I would also highly recommend a Mustang backrest. Those two things were the best 2 mods I've done so far for comfort. I also have a Mustang seat and Clearview windshield but I'd start with the cruise and backrest. Good luck!
