frank got are bikes home the other day from being in storage just finished putting my wifes amp and speakers in and shes loving it going for a ride today. thanks for all your help. tim
Watch the speakers you have I just had two customers buy amps from me and bought the 6.25 and the 7 inch speakers from some one else and when they turn it up the speakers had distortion past 60% the double shot is 200 watts peak 150 watts rms.) Not sure what the other speakers can handle.
I did not go with anyone's "kit" drivers, I got some really good component speakers, they a re awesome, sound much better than the hawg wired's do, you can only move so much air with a 5.25 speaker, no matter how good it is.
I am glade to hear that. I hope by the end of March mid April I will be back full time in Poplar Grove Il Let me know if I can help you with anything you need.
Thanks,

mikes300, I don't believe it , I had a McIntosh car amp in my saddle bag and JB Quartz speakers and the system rocked, you can't buy a better amp then McIntosh period, I wanted my saddlebag back so I went with the Hawg-Wired Double Shot system, this is their better 2 channel system, I fully exspected the system to be good but not as good as what I was replacing but I was o k with that because I would have my bag back, installed the system and it blew me away, loud - clear- no distortion even at 100% volume, to talk negative of Hawg Wired shows you are misinformed
dont believe what? the hawg wired stuff is awesome, what sis i say negative? i have both their amps and recently replaced there 5.25 speakers in my fairing with some great quality 6.5 inch component speakers with tweaters in the dash and yes they sound better than the tiny hawg wired speakers, i did not say the hawg wireds did not sound good, i also have 6X9's in my bags, also powered by hawg wired amp.
